MUDRAS FOR HEALTH

1. There are Pancha Tatwas viz, Agni (Fire),Vayu (Air), Akasha, Pruthvi (Earth) and Jala or Varuna (Water).
a. Fire or Agni Tatwa is assigned to Thumb
b.Vayu Tatwa is assigned to 2nd to Thumb called Fore Finger, which is also called Guru finger, in astrology.
c. AkashaTatwa is assigned to Long finger(Saturn finger) which is called as Shani Finger, in astrology.
d. Ring finger is assigned to Prithvi Tatwa, which is Sun finger, in astrology.
e. The last small finger is assigned to Varuna or Jala or Water Tatwa, which is called as Mercury finger in astrology.
2. Dhyan Mudra:- Touch your fore finger to the tip of the thumb for 10 to 15 minutes while you do walking in the early morning. Infact because to Pituitary Gland and Pineal Gland are at the tip of thumb. When the tip of the thumb is pressed by the forefinger, then these glands are being activated. Then what happens due to this? Concentration of the person will be increasing. If they are students, then their remembering capacity will be increasing. Hence this will be blessing for all the students. So by practicing this, one’s aggressiveness angry nature will be controlled. Wavering mentality, fearness in the mind, stubbornness will be eradicating fully. There will not be head ache and no sleeplessness. Their brsin nerves will be getting activated by this mudra. Even bad habits, theft, telling lies will all go. Person will be on right track and no addiction for alcohol or cigarettes.
3. Akasha Mudra :- If the tip of the thumb is pressed with long finger then it is called as Shoonya Mudra or Akasha Mudra. If you practice daily for 20 minutes to 30 minutes, then all parts of the body will be balanced. All bones are becoming very strong. Health of the heart will be in quite normal due to this mudra. If some times by some nerve problems, if the opened mouth is unable to close then you have to make a sound with the help of these two fingers.
4. Prithvi Tatwa:- If the tip of the thumb is pressed by sun finger, health of the skin, nerves, body hair will be good. Five elements of the body viz sound, beauty, liquid, smell and feeling are all Earthy Elements. Because of practicing this mudra, all these will be in good condition as Panchendriyas will be start working good. Because of their good functioning blood circulation in the body will be good and health of the body is also be good. So weight according to the height will be maintained.
5. Varuna Mudra or Jal mudra or Water Mudra :- If the last small finger is pressed with tip of the thumb, flow of the liquid in the body will be maintained. Urine and sweat are all connected to Water Tatwa. So flow of liquid in the body is maintained. This mudra should be practiced at least for the minimum period of 20 to 30 minutes. After practicing Varuna Mudra, you have to practice Prana Mudra which is nothing but by pressing the tip of the Thumb with last two fingers, viz last small finger and ring finger together for at least 15 minutes.
6. Vyana Mudra :- If the tip of the thumb is pressed with first two fingers viz. forefinger and long (Saturn) finger together for 20 minutes, your Blood Pressure will be normal. If high it will be brought down and keep normal and if BP is low, then it will be brought up and make it normal. This is because of Akasha and Vayu Tatwa will be pressing with Agni Tatwa. If anyone gets less sleep or if they are under utter tension, then by practicing this Mudra for 10 to 15 minutes, their blood pressure will become normal
7. Apana Mudra :- If Middle two fingers viz. Akasha Tatwa finger and Pruthvi Tatwa finger is pressed with the tip of the thumb which is of Agni Tatwa, then their every parts of the stomach will be start well functioning . Their digestion power will be in good condition. There will be no stomach upset.If any one gets stomach pain, then one has to practice this Apana Mudra for 10 to 15 minutes. It will be cured immediately. If diabetic patients start practicing for 30 to 40 minutes followed with Prana Mudra, then diabetic will be definitely coming to normal. This mudra will cure piles.; If pregnant lady practice this mudra starting from their 8th month daily for 10 minutes followed with walking, their delivery will be quite normal. If everyone from children to old persons practices this mudra at least for 10 minutes, then they will be quite healthy. They are not at all getting urine infection, indigestion, irritations in heart etc. Health of the mouth, eyes, ears, and nose will be quite good. Even aids patients practice this mudra, then it will be giving quite reliefs.
8. Prana Mudra:- If the tip of the thumb is pressed with last two fingers, then it is called Prana Mudra.In our body prana vayu and Apana Vayu are playing an important role. Pranavayu makes the person very blissful throughout. He/She will be completely fit both physically and mentally also. Eye sight will be perfectly alright. He /She will develop the energy to combat the diseases.  If you practice any chikitsa mudras, you have to do this Prana Mudra at the end for at least 10 minutes. For eg. If you practice Jnana Mudra for good sleep, you have to practice Prana Mudra at the end. If you practice Apana Mudra for eradicating Diabetes, you have to practice Prana Mudra at the end. If you practice Vayu Mudra for eradicating problems related to Vayu, at the end you have to practice Prana Mudra. When you are on fast specially, please practice this Prana Mudra, which will give you required energy for eradicating fatigue  due to the observation of Fast. There is no different between healthy and Unhealthy people for practicing this Prana Mudra. Both can practice to keep their health in good condition. Every day you have to practice Jnana Mudra, Pruthvi Mudra, Apana Mudra, Vayu Mudra and Prana Mudra to keep the health intact.
9. Yoni Mudra:- This Mudra is specially for ladies. One has to practice during Menopause period or if they found menstrual cycle is irregular or any heavy bleeding are taking place. In Toto, to eradicate  Menstrual related issues completely, one has to practice this Yoni Mudra. It will keep your womb very healthy.
10. Vayu Mudra :- Because of Vayu people are getting various related problems such as stomach pain, Head ache, Pain in almost all parts of the body, Back Pain, Hip joint pain, knee pain, spondylitis, Sciatica etc. This mudra has to be practiced for 10 to 15 minutes and thereafter practice Prana Mudra. You have to practice daily 2 to three times. If pain is severe, you practice for 45 minutes. You will be pain free person!. If you press Thumb with Agni Tatwa on finger which is having Vayu Tatwa, then automatically vayu or air in the body will be kicked out by way of Apana Vayu.
11. Shunya Mudra :- If you press the Thumb on the back of the Saturn finger (Longest finger), then this mudra is called Shunya Mudra. Since this finger is representing Akasha Tatwa, by pressing Agni on Akasha tatwa will give relief of ear pain, dumbness problems, hear problems etc. Vartigo pain will be getting relived. If ear is starting discharging some sorts of white liquid, that will be cured by practicing this mudra fo 10 to 15 minutes daily.
12. Surya Mudra :- If the thumb representing Agni Tatwa is pressed on the backside of Surya Finger which represents Pruthivi Tatwa, then your fatty part will be liquidated and you will become slim and handsome. This mudra is very helpful if you practice it while walking. This mudra will eradicate cough problems, Asthama, Common Cold, Pneumonia, sinus etc. Your digession power will be enhanced. Thyroid glands will be activated. Your body heat will be increasing. If you are weak in body, do not practice this mudra. What they have to do is to just touch the thumb tip to the tip of the ring finger. They start becoming fat.
13. Jalodhara Nashaka Mudra or Kidney Mudra:-  If you start pressing with the help of Thumb on the back side of Mercury finger, this mudra will be formed. This will remove the excess of water in the body in form of sweat or urine. So if anybody is suffering from excess of urine, it will be cured. Throat pain, common cold when attacked , practice Surya Mudra along with this mudra and later onwards Prana Mudra.
14. Linga Mudra :- This will be done by the help of both the hands. By doing this mudra heat will be generated in the body as you are pressing Agni Tatwa with another Agni Tatwa. This mudra is very helpful during winter season. Khasi, Common Cold, Sinus, Astama, Pneumonia, TB, Manstrual disorders etc. will be cured with this Mudra. All problems started due to working in Air-condition will be solved by this Mudra. Body weight will be balanced.  Along with this Mudra, practice Surya Mudra, your body weight will be getting reduced. You dislocated Naval will be set right. When you keep your finger on Naval when in empty stomach, you hear heartbeat. If you do not hear this heartbeat, then your naval is dislocated and hence you will be suffering from diseases. So by practicing this Mudra, your naval will be positioned properly and in its place only and you become healthy. By practicing Linga Mudra, you will be thirsty and hence more and more water has to be consumed. Start consuming Fruit Juice, Milk, Ghee, Butter Milk, Lemon Juice etc more and more. If you are suffering from Pitha dosha, then you should not practice this Mudra. Suppose if you are suffering from common cold, cough or any other diseases related to cough do practice only for 5 minutes. When problems solved, stop it for further practicing.
15. Shankha Mudra :- What you have to do is keep thumb of left hand on right hand nad hold tilghtly by fist. Your right hand thumb should be surrendering left hand thumb. Then rest all four fingers of left hand on right hand folded fist, so that your fore finger of left hand should be touching the Thumb of right hand. This mudra is called Shankha Mudra. This can be done even with right hand also.  Because of pressure on Thumb, your pituitary glands start functioning well. Your Pineal glands start functioning well.Your kidney starts functioning very well. Your thyroid starts functioning very well. Your liver also starts functioning very well. Since thyroid gland will start functioning well, your sound will be perfectly alright. So person who sings should practice this Mudra compulsorily. Tonsil will be set alright. Dust allergy will be cured. If you are having tumbling problems, it will be cured. While you are on travel you will be affected with dust allergy. Then, this mudra will come to your rescue.
16. Apana Vayu Mudra or Heart Mudra :- This is the conglomeration of two mudras. One is Apana Mudra and other is Vayu Mudra.   How to do this? Touch the base of thumb with the help of fore finger. Then bend two fingers viz. ring finger and Saturn finger together and start touching the tip of the thumb. What are the Advantages? When you are attacked with heart attack, this Mudra come to your rescue. If your heart beats are erratic, this mudra will bring it to normal. Because of Vata, if you get pain in heart, start practicing this mudra. This mudra has to be done both in the morning and evening for 10 to 15 minutes followed with Pran Mudra. If you are legs are sweating, it will come to stop. Urinating will be easily. Stomach will start functioning very well. All teeth related will be cured. If you start climbing multy storied building, do this mudra and take rest for two minutes and then proceed. If diseases related to Vata is not cured by Vayu Mudra, then you have to do this mudra compulsorily.
17. Aditi Mudra.:- You have to touch base of the ring finger by the tip of Thumb. Other fingers should be straight. Surya mamandala at the base of the ring finger will be clashing with fire tatwa of the thumb, generating more heat. So this will be very useful when a person will get continuous “HAKSHI” HAKSHI in the very morning. If you do this mudra, it will be simply cured. If you get continuous yawning also do this mudra. It will be vanished.
18. DHYAN MUDRA :- Keep one hand in other and make thumb to thumb contacted. Your front hands should be facing towards sky. This will create some sorts of energy flow and will help in meditation. You feel that some sorts of energy is flowing in your body. Blood circulation will be good. Mind will be calm. There will be no heart attack and BP problems. You will be absolutely in blissful mood always.
